My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms definitely needed an update in terms of paint and decor, giving off an old-fashioned vibe. Despite this, the location was great for walking and enjoying the surroundings. The dining experience was quite good with plenty of food options, but the service was a bit questionable at times. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with room for improvement.

Our short break at the hotel was just perfect. The rooms were spacious, with a lovely shower and provided shower gel and shampoo. They were really nice and warm, making it more comfortable for relaxing. The service was great, with particularly Laura on reception and the breakfast staff being attentive and friendly. The location was excellent, right in the centre of Grassmere. The dining experience was lovely with plenty of choice. Overall, a cozy and comfortable stay.
